Jamie, oh Jamie...
I have always loved my name…Jamie. Five letters, which thrown together, to me make a rather unique name…a mainly male name…but a great name at that. My dad named me Jamie, after a girl he met at Disney World, my mom wanted to name me Amanda (she wanted so badly to call me Mandy). Obviously my dad won that battle, because I have gone 21 years with the name Jamie.
When ‘Hey There Delilah’ came out, I started to get a little sad about my name because I couldn’t find many songs with Jamie in them. I have always known a song or two that I have loved, but lately my name has been coming up more and more.
